Theatre Artist

Alicia is a lifelong theatre enthusiast with over 40 years of experience onstage, backstage, and in the director’s chair.

She has helmed several critically acclaimed productions throughout Western Connecticut, including Spring Awakening and Parade. She also co-directed and co-produced Chad Beckim’s play, A Matter of Choice, at the NY International Fringe Festival in 2010.

Alicia has produced several events in the Danbury area, including the Connecticut concert premiere of Tony-nominated composer Joe Iconis and [title of show] co-creator Susan Blackwell’s Die Vampire, Die! writing seminar.

Her play, A Gift of Undetermined Value, which explores the bioethical issues of organ donation by prison inmates, was honored with a BroadwayWorld.com nomination for Best Play.

Alicia received her BA in Theatre/Musical Theatre from Ohio Northern University.
